BALLS Y'ALL: Who knew that the American Idols were soooo "street?" Here's what I just find out from inside the spot that the group was holed up prior to Sunday's tour kick-off show:
For their first stop on their 50 state tour, the American Idols stayed at the Hotel Monaco Portland. When they found themselves with some spare time they decided to play some basketball. Problem: No basketball. So one of the valets (editors note: I think his name is "Garrett") from the hotel dashed home, grabbed his basketball, and voila...problem solved. When they checked out of the hotel all autographed the ball (see above) and presented it to the valet! SWEET! Who knew
Glambert played ball?

SOMEDAY MY PRINTS WILL COME: Just got this in from none other than my old college buddy/ film dude David Cress about a movie he has been working on here in the Rose City:
The film "Somedays Are Better Than Others" that was written and directed by Matt McCormick and Produced by Neil Kopp and (David Cress) is in its final stages of post production and being readied for festival submissions. If you have a spare minute and want to check it out go to www.somedaysthemovie.com.
Photo above is of one of its stars
Carrie Brownstein, formerly of Sleater-Kinney. I love that woman.
