Breaking Radio News: Tara Dublin "Let Go" at KNRK 94.7

I can confirm that midday DJ Tara Dublin has been "let go" from her position at KNRK 94.7. Her removal is effective immediately. It is my understanding that Dublin was informed of the decision to "reduce staff" just after her shift at the station today. The lay-off was mandated directly from KNRK's parent company, Entercom Radio Networks. Now that Dublin's position is eliminated Greg Glover's morning show will be extended until 10 am, with automated music filling in Dublin's other hours.
All of this is is interesting to note, since my partner and I had a blast with Dublin last night at both Departure and The Original (she's pictured above with my partner Juan Martinez). A recent co-host of Basic Rights Oregon's STRUT Fashion Show, Dublin talked last night about her future in radio and how much she loved her job and wanted to promote her station. Wow.

Aw, she's even been a commenter here, promoting the station. (I can't imagine how you came upon this information, Byron.) Absolute best of luck to her!
